RIVERFRONT MUSIC FESTIVAL is a two day festival that will take place on
Saturday, July 20 & Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Hart Plaza in Detroit, Michigan.

  • Gates open @ 3 P.M. both Saturday and Sunday 7/20 and 7/21

  • RMF is 21+ ONLY

  • This event is RAIN OR SHINE there are no ticket refunds granted for inclement weather

  • All ticket sales are FINAL.  There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations.

  • Every ticket holder is subject to search upon entry and at any time inside the venue for the purposes of the safety of our performers, employees and fellow ticket holders.

  • Wristband sharing or transferring is PROHIBITED. Any attendee with a wristband that has been tampered with or damaged will be ejected from the event immediately and NO REFUNDS will be issued.

  • The lineup of performers and set times are subject to change without notice.  Be sure to check in often with RMF social media posts for updated lineups and set times.

  • Any personal item that is deemed dangerous will not be permitted into the venue - this is at the sole discretion of RMF organizers and security personnel.  NO FIREARMS will be allowed regardless of status with law enforcement or concealed carry permit.  

  • How old do I need to be to attend Riverfront Music Festival?
    The answer is 21+ STRICTLY with valid state issued personal ID or Driver’s License. Pictures of IDs or expired IDs will NOT be accepted. Valid passports are also permitted.
  • Where is the festival located?
    Riverfront Music Festival is located at 1 Hart Plaza, Detroit, MI 48226.
  • Is RMF ADA accessible?
    ADA compliant bathrooms will be available.
  • What is the closest airport?
    (DTW) Detroit Metro Airport is the closest major international airport to fly into.
  • What can I bring to Riverfront Music Festival?
    The following items are allowed at Binoculars Point and shoot cameras. Inflatable chairs or couches, Folding) No Blankets No Colors, Patches, Chains, Chain Wallets / Chain Belts No Coolers No Cameras (Professional) No Detachable Lenses / No DSLRs No Video Recording Equipment No Drones or Remote Control Vehicle or Toys of Any Kind No Drugs or Drug Paraphernalia (incl. Cannabis, Cannabis Products; For Prescription Drugs - Prescription must be in properly labeled containers that match the holder's ID. No Pillboxes) No Flammables (incl.   • Can I leave and re-enter the festival?
    No. There is no re-entry allowed for this festival.
  • Will there be food at RMF?
    Absolutely! RMF will feature 25 of the city’s latest and greatest food trucks offering a wide variety of different styles of food! There will even be options for vegans and vegetarians or others with special dietary needs. Stay tuned to RMF social media channels for an updated list of participating food vendors.
  • What Should I know about liquor/beer/wine?
    You must be 21+ to enter the festival. You may be asked to provide ID when purchasing alcohol. Please drink responsibly and NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE. There will be several different service stations throughout the festival to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • When does RMF start and end?
    Festival hours will be posted closer to the event date.
  • I have special dietary/medical needs. Will my special items be allowed in?
    Outside food and drink is not allowed at RMF. Patrons with medical based dietary restrictions can email info@riverfrontmusicfestival.com for instructions on how to bring in dietary necessities. A patron requiring insulin is allowed to bring his or her medically necessary materials and medications, provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Feel free to head over to the main medical tent at any time for assistance with storing your medical materials.
  • Do you have a medical tent on site?
    Yes, there will be an EMS tent at the festival. Please stay tuned for the full festival map to be released closer to the event date. You can drop off medication, or speak to a medical professional.

There is no on-site parking available at the Riverfront Music Festival. However, there are numerous lots and garages around the area that are independently operated within walking distance to Hart Plaza.
